Recently dug up from Danish TV archives is this 10 minute video documenting the original Nirvana, Patrick Campbell-Lyons and Alex Spyropoulos, working on some music, strolling down to Denmark Street…doing their thing. Circa 1969.
The Kinks 1968 performance on the Julie Felix Show recently surfaced on YouTube. This ultra rare TV appearance, which is second to last for original Kinks bassist Pete Quaife, features the band perform two tracks off their Village Green Preservation Society album, “The Last of The Steam Powered Trains” followed by “Picture Book”. Both songs are live vocals over the studio tracks.
